SKILLS
First for the skills, we prioritize the abilities to 5 main categories:
- Sent the ball to teammate
- Receive and control the ball
- Kicks to score a goal
- Position control, defense
- Goalkeeper skills
These 5 categories are very important abilities to a footballer and we as a footballer, coaches, or talent searcher must focusing on these. Goalkeeper skills is specifically for a goalkeeper but all others categories listed above also important for a goalkeeper. So all the categories except the goalkeeper skills are important to all other position of play, no matter he is striker or defender he must mastering the basic skill for each categories.

1. Passing - the speed, accuracy, timing, and direction.
2. Receiving - the player reaction when the ball coming to him, the reaction speed, and how he stop or move the ball.
3. Finishing - the kicks accuracy, the ability to kick the ball to the right direction and right time.
4. Positioning - the understanding of positioning play, are the player put him self at the right position, the best position during defending or attacking, the best position to received the ball.
5. Reflexes - the main skills for the goalkeeper, how goalkeeper reaction in any situation, how quick his reaction.
The other skills below of these 5 skills are the advanced skills for each categories. That is require specific training to be expert with it. But these 5 skills are very important, for example if the player is good in shooting and have a powerful shoots. It is useless if he don't have good finishing skills, he will send the ball wide and not on target.
MENTALITY
Mentality also important for a good footballer, we divided the player mentality to 4 categories:

Above are the list of players mentality that should be have by a footballer. But the most basic and important mentality are the hard work, team work, and communication. We put communication as a mental ability because it is very related to players mentality. The bad mentality will likely to make the player can't communicate effectively and maybe bad communication will come out and not the positive communication. So to have a good communication the players must have positive mindset during a matches. Communication will also reflexes the team work.
PHYSICAL
Below are the main physical ability, physical ability is very important and should not be skip during any training at any age level. Good physical ability will help the consistency of player performance during any matches.
